Children aged 3 years old and older must be reliably potty trained to take part in our program.
Reliable toilet training is defined as a child who can tell an adult when he or she needs to use
the bathroom, being able to manipulate clothes, knowledge of flushing, and washing of hands.
All children should be able to wipe themselves after going to the bathroom. Bathrooms are
supervised by teachers while children are using them. None of the 3-4 year olds should be
wearing pull-ups to school as a “just in case” measure. Reliably potty-trained children are past
this need.
